PLRpro opens it’s doors today – exciting site creation software

December 10, 2008 by Tricia

The doors to PLRpro are opening again today at 9:00 a.m.. If you’ve been waiting for your chance to join this fantastic PLR content site here’s your chance!

Note: that time above was wrong. It was supposed to be 9:00 pm PST but I think it will be more like 11 PM. Sorry.

I decided to check out PLRPro a few months ago when the doors to this membership site last opened, and I must say that I’m impressed with the content, the resources and the level of service.

I’m impressed, not just because of the quality they bring to the table in regards to PLR Content, but also because of the additional education and material that they provide for free. In fact, something you’ll probably want to checkout before you join PLRPro is their http://www.ninetydaychallenge.net site which takes a user from start to finish, and they offer that for free.

When I first joined PLRpro there were offering the following:

  • 440 articles across 11 niches (40 articles in each niche)
  • Full keyword research in each niche
  • Affiliate lists for each niche
  • Header Graphics for each niche
  • 5 Website Templates each month
  • Articles done in 8 languages
  • 50 PR4 sites that you can get links from to get your sites indexed and crawled

In addition to the above I also joined because they were creating a new system, Project Green Button, which would make it easy to create HTML and eventually WordPress Websites within minutes.

“Imagine A “Push Button” System That Automates 95% Of Site Creation, Content Creation and Traffic Generation… Now Open Your Eyes, That “Push Button” System Is Here…”

I’ve had a chance to use the Project Green Button or PGB software and I’m impressed. Right now this software is in Phase One and with PGB you’ll be able to

  • Site Creation – Automatically building HTML sites that are fully structured and ready to go with perfect onpage optimization in just 3 minutes (you can do it in under 60 seconds but you have to type fast…) that requires zero technical knowledge.
  • Content Management – 440 articles each month across 11 niches
  • Site Templates – 25 beautiful templates as the initial “bank of templates” from which you can draw upon to build your niche sites
  • Adsense Monetization – Stage one of PGB introduces the core monetization method behind building an income online… Adsense. Stage two will add additional monetization such as Kontera, Clickbank, eBay and Amazon.
  • Full Silo Keyword Search – Each and every niche has all of this already done for you so you don’t need to go search for the next greatest keyword…just look for, and find an ideal keyword for maximum traffic and speed. The keyword research for each niche is done in an easily laid out Excel sheet that you can quickly glance at and find perfectly targeted long tail keywords to start generating traffic in as little as 5 days.
  • 10,000 strong blog network – This networks makes it easy to get one way backlinks via PLRpro’s Article Marketing Automation system. As a Member of PLRpro you’ll get access to this system completely free of charge.
  • RSS Feed Submission module
  • Social bookmarking poster module
  • PGB desktop command center. You simply install the PGB software on you computer and from there you can access the site building software and traffic related modules.
  • $0-6000 a month training plan – If you follow the system that the guys at PLRpro have put together you should be able to make between $2000 and $6000 every month.

There are many additional features that are available right now too many to tell you about in this article! Product reviews, the ability to drag and drop YouTube videos into your articles, aided rewriting of your articles to make them unique, weekly live training and more! Plus Project Green Button isn’t finished! There will be a second and third phase which will add even more modules that will assist in the building of site and generating traffic.

They could easily charge double or triple what they are charging for membership.

I’ve used the system to create a few sites and it works. I’m pleased with the sites I’ve created, I’m pleased with the quality of the PLR content and I’m excited about Project Green Button.

Now, as I said at the beginning of this article PLRpro is opening it’s doors this morning and it will likely only be for a short time as there are only 262 spots to fill. That’s it. When those 262 memberships are taken the doors will be closed again and likely won’t open again until sometime in 2009.

So if all that I’ve written above sounds like it might be something you’re interested in please go and check out the PLRpro website today.

What Is RSS?

November 15, 2008 by Tricia

Do You Understand What RSS Is?

RSS can have more than one meaning behind it. Usually, RSS stands for “really simple syndication” but it can also mean “rich site summary” or “RDF site summary”.

The meaning behind, ’RDF’ is resource description framework. That should help explaining the meaning associated with RSS, now let’s look at what it can do.

Exactly what is RSS in the realm of really simple syndication? It is a tool that allows sites to give a quick summary of important links and descriptions in XML format. This essentially allows them to syndicate their content by allowing other blog owners and webmasters to use this summary as part of a list of summaries on a specific topic.

Webmasters and blogmasters will gather a number of these summaries using a feed aggregator or feed reader. Rather than asking, “what is RSS”, this tool will ask “where is RSS” and then find it.

The aggregator tool will locate RSS feeds and collect them from various sites such as, Yahoo and MSN, and will select smaller sites like a personal blog or a news sites.

The blogmasters and webmasters then take the script generated from the aggregator and insert it into their blogs. The RSS feed is then created in this way and will automatically start pulling news items and blog posts each time they come up. Whenever the blog or site page is refreshed, it will display the latest items.

Taking advantage of this tool is good for two reasons. By using your own RSS feed, you will be able to have your content distributed across the internet without having to pay each time you submit a press release, or contact other blog owners and webmasters.

If you have your own personal blog page, then by using an RSS feed you can add fresh content to it much easier and faster. This will allow you to constantly put new content links and summaries on your blog without spending the time to hunt around for related information. You just need to choose a feed aggregator to select the potential feeds you can use and these can be found on a list of news sites and authority blogs. Plus, you can create your own custom feeds by adding any of your own selections that you find.

Do you now understand the basics behind RSS? Simply put, using RSS is a very easy way to generate traffic to your blog and to display additional summaries you find on other blogs.

Wholesalers Dropshipping – Selecting The Correct One For You

November 13, 2008 by Tricia

Out of all the online businesses available, the dropshipping business seems to be one of the best, especially for novices. This is because it only requires you to market the products of the wholesalers dropshipping supplier. Once you get an order and the payment from the client, you pay the dropshipping company their fee for shipping. The latter acts on the order and dispatches the product as per the requirement. The quality of the service the supplier offers will be critical to the growth of your business.

This is the reason why you need to know how to select the best, wholesale drop shipping supplier, if you want to succeed in this business. The shipper must be reliable, as this is critical to your business, and the shipper must provide reasonably priced products, as this will determine your profit and sales turnover. The quality of the products is also very important, as this will build your reputation, and lastly, products should be well stocked so the dispatch of an order will be fast and efficient. The reliability of a company can be checked by referring their name to the BBA, as well as running a check on the internet for information. Unreliable dropshipping companies can be a source of great embarrassment, not to mention losses. The quality of the dropshipping products can be checked by asking them for samples.

Another quality that you will require in your wholesalers dropshipping supplier is the ability to accommodate small orders, along with large orders. Ideally, there should not be a minimum limit on an order. This will be critical if you are new to the business, since initially you likely will be dealing with small orders. Though it is often difficult to find such suppliers, the trouble to find one will be well worth your trouble. This is one thing that you should negotiate with the drop shipping company in advance, since once you have the order from the client, it should be honored by your dropshipping supplier.

The quality of the wholesalers dropshipping supplier will directly impact the success of your business. It is therefore in your interest to identify the best there is online and enter into a contract with them. Among the most critical factors is the honesty and dependability of the drop shipping wholesale company, as this will generally cover all other requirements in the business. It is also imperative that you connect to such suppliers that do not impose any minimum amount of orders, making it easier for you to set up your business initially.

If you pay attention to the news, especially the financial news, then you know that today’s economy is significantly worse than it was last year. This downturn in the economy means that business owners have to be smarter about their expenses. They have to watch and carefully stick to a budget. Even drop shipping rates are under close scrutiny. If you are a business owner then you need all of the information possible on your shipping needs. Thankfully there are plenty of books and programs out on the market today to help you.

Some Great Tips For Ecommerce Web Sites

November 3, 2008 by Tricia

The internet is the defining factor for business labeled as eCommerce as it is the essential medium to make it work.

Following a few simple rules are all that is needed to elicit a positive response from visitors.

The sales process is better with fewer steps

In good eCommerce design it has been demonstrated that there is a direct correlation between the number of clicks a person has to make in order to complete a purchase and the volume of people who abandon their shopping cart before checking out.

You need to make the checkout process as simple as possible on your eCommerce web site so that potential customers are not discouraged easily through poor navigation.

Ensure customers are aware of stock levels

Make sure that customers can check the availability of stock early on in the sales process.

Customers will quickly leave your site if you do not show them what stock is available. Purchasing on the web is easy and it is also easy to find another site to make your purchase.

Ensure web browser compatibility

Make sure you view your site in a variety of browsers to ensure that it is presented correctly. This really is a good rule of thumb for any site that you might be creating. Make sure that you at least view your site in Internet Explorer and Firefox as these are the two most commonly used browsers.

Use sensible words in your hyperlinks

Name your links appropriately using a sensible description that means something to your customers. For instance, ‘Music players section A’ is much less descriptive than ‘iPod Nano range’.

Double check your hyperlinks

Make sure that all the hyperlinks work on your site and that they click through to the correct destinations. Broken links will make your visitors think that your site is not professional.

Use Web graphics that are simple, clean and small in size

Graphics are great for illustration, but you need to ensure they are optimized for the web.

This means that you should use a graphics program such as Adobe Photoshop or Macromedia Fireworks or perhaps one of the free ones that you can find on the web to reduce the file size of your graphic images in order to ensure that your eCommerce internet solution does not take too long to load its pages. Visitors tend to leave sites that load too slowly.

This exercise becomes a balancing act between quality versus file size, but usually a good compromise can be obtained.

Create a straightforward checkout process

The final stage of your eCommerce process is also the most stressful for your customer. You need to ensure that your customer is feels safe using your site to make a payment. That of course means that you need to provide a secure payment process in which they can entrust their personal details.

Most web hosts will offer the Secure Socket Layer method that ensures your site is encrypted to protect your customers personal details. Tell your customers about the security arrangements you have in place on your eCommerce web site in order to protect their personal information.

If you follow the tips outlined above then you will avoid most of the common pitfalls that you might encounter when developing your eCommerce web site.

VPS Web Hosting for Small Businesses

November 3, 2008 by Tricia

If you are running a small business website and have grown your site to a point where you are attracting many hundreds or even thousands of visitors per day, you will need to start thinking about using a more powerful web hosting plan.

One solution may be to go out and order a dedicated server, but this option can be an expensive one. If you can’t afford a dedicated server at this point but require a similar site performance, then VPS web hosting may be a better solution for you.

VPS (virtual private server) hosting consists of one server divided into multiple isolated accounts, and each VPS account has its own independent operating system with it’s own web server and mail server resources, so there is no sharing of resources with other customers even though your accounts are on the same server. Just like a dedicated server, you can have access to all configuration files within your account which means a greater ability for you to install and run custom software if you’d like to.

VPS web hosting accounts are designed to cope with a high level of traffic. Most VPS plans provide bandwidth allowance of 100’s of gigabytes which is usually more than enough for most purposes, even for extremely popular websites.

While some experienced webmasters will want to manage the technical aspects of their VPS accounts, this can become a time-consuming and complicated task for the unprepared. This is one reason many people prefer to have their VPS web hosting accounts fully managed and monitored by the web hosting company. Sometimes you may need pay a few dollars per month more for this, but this can free up your valuable time and energy to concentrate on providing quality content and promoting your site.

VPS hosting plans usually cost considerably less than a dedicated server. A managed dedicated server might cost from $150 per month up to $300 per month or more, but you can expect to pay just $35-$50 per month for an entry-level, fully managed VPS hosting account and this will allow you to run multiple sites from one account. You should be provided with an operating system, control panel, your own allocation of RAM memory, plus large space and bandwidth resources. At least 256MB guaranteed ram is suggested in order to run your control panels and database driven sites smoothly. For higher traffic sites consider starting with 384MB or 512MB of guaranteed Ram or more.

Many websites that offer VPS hosting also offer cheap reseller hosting plans if you are interested in becoming a hosting reseller.

Whoa! Someone was frustrated with their computer

September 24, 2008 by Tricia

Wordless Wednesday

00034748.jpg

Have you ever become so frustrated with your computer that you’ve thought of doing something like this? Or perhaps throwing your monitor to the ground?

I once lost the contents of my hard drive due to a power surge (and yes we had a surge protector on the computer, but it failed) and I felt like doing something like this!

I can’t imagine how much force you’d need to shove a keyboard through a monitor though. Wow.

Have you considered using PLR content to supplement your site content?

September 17, 2008 by Tricia

OK, I’ve seen all the GURU’s talking about it for months now so i decided to finally go and check out what all the fuss was about. I joined a membership site called PLRpro a little over a month ago. I haven’t actually used any of the articles I’ve received on any of my sites yet, but I will be soon. The quality of the articles are very good.

Just like you I was a little skeptical at first, but I have to say I was SERIOUSLY impressed. The quality of there PLR content was great, but what I was really amazed with was the amount of free resources that were in there. I thought I was just signing up for content but with all the resources in there it’s been like my own personal coaching from the experts.

In fact, if you want to see what I’m talking about have a look at http://www.ninetydaychallenge.net It’s a fool proof system, it tells you exactly what to do, where to do it and on what day to do it on from start to finish and guarantees you’ll make money.

Anyway, here’s a basic overview of what your PLRPro membership contains:

440 articles across 11 niches (40 articles in each niche)
Full keyword research in each niche
Affiliate lists for each niche
Header Graphics for each niche
5 Website Templates each month
Articles done in 8 languages
50 PR4 sites that you can get links from to get your sites indexed and crawled

I’ve also found that they’ve added new resources in the month I’ve been with them and there are some fantastic additions to the service planned for October. I can’t wait!

PLUS here’s a few of the things they normally keep secret:

You’ll have access to their Automized Site Builder
Specialized WordPress Installer
Automatic WordPress Uploader
181 Page VRE Handbook (I’ve slowly been going through this and it’s very helpful)
SEO Training (includes 6 part Video Program)
PPC Training
Plus more….

They really do put together the full package… you’re not just paying for content, with all the extra’s this is probably the only membership you’ll ever need.

As far as the PLR Content game is concerned, they truly offer the best package out there bar none.

If you don’t believe me, check out what others have to say at PLRpro.

Company misses payment glitch – now I’m at fault?

August 26, 2008 by Tricia

Can you believe this? A company that I’ve been doing a little internet work for over the last two years or so just discovered that they’ve been overpaying me by about $80 since FEBRUARY! Now I either have to pay them back to the tune of about $500 or do a ton of extra work for them to pay off my debt.

What kind of company doesn’t notice that they have a glitch in their payment system for over 6 months?

A few months ago when I noticed that my payments had increased I wondered what was up, but the site that I do work for them on had increased in rank and popularity so I thought I’d just had a pay increase. Unfortunately their system is kind of hard to get into and it’s difficult to see just how they pay for different tasks. So I don’t consider this my fault although I guess in hindsight I should have thought to question them about the payments.

This totally sucks. I hope that the extra stuff I’m going to have to do to pay off the debt doesn’t ruin my site! Argh!

BTW I’m purposely not mentioning the company name as it’s against their TOS and well I don’t want to suffer a slap from the internet gods – even though it’s not this site that is involved in the glitch.

Get that Escape button!

April 23, 2008 by Tricia

Wordless Wednesday

Escape is escaping!

I think Ctrl’s losing control!

I haven’t been writing in this blog as much as I should. Surprisingly I’m spending all my time, it seems, trying to pick out new themes for few of my sites. Did you know that the more you download and test out the harder it gets to pick just one? Yeah … it’s true.

Well .. at least with all this theme testing I’ll have some great themes to tell you guys about just as soon as I get around to telling you about them.
